Participants will experience a short language aptitude test developed by the presenter. Next, participants will learn the features of major language aptitude tests (e.g. MLAT, DLAB, and CANAL-F) and what they purport to measure. Finally, we will discuss major advantages and disadvantages of language aptitude tests in foreign language programs.
